One of the Hunters' many navigators, Alia was once a reploid researcher and developper. She helps out Hunters on their missions by giving out useful information. She took it upon herself to fix up an old robot body in her spare time, and eventually did. Alia, outside of her job as a navigator, talks a whole lot.
An average Hunter, Anode's element is lightning, while his two brothers' are fire and ice. The three of them were one of the many attempts at making an undefeatable weapon, but like the past ones, this attempt was a failure as well, as both of Anode's brothers went Irregular. Anode has been a Hunter for a long time, and has a good enough record to be put in charge of his own Hunter unit. He is very much so a silent type most of the time. When he speaks up, it's important.
The ultimate ninja reploid model: they feature many ninja weapons, along with a very small size to make sneaking around even easier. Mass-produced, these little girls each have their own personalities, and in some cases, their own physical differences. 3 is one of the most mentally stable of them all.
Having been very badly damaged as the aftermath of his loss of control over the Dark Energy in his core, Forte shut his system downs for a century before his body was found by a mercenary. His body was then brought to the Hunters; one of them decided he was worth fixing. Now rebuilt as a reploid, featuring a lot of new technology but still a lot of his old body as well, Forte is trying to supress his memories of the past. He finds pain in them... But this is just one of the many effects of something he has much to discover about : his newly-gained emotions.
Goldenwing was built as an attempt to replicate Zero's fighting style. As such, Goldenwing closely ressembles Zero physically, but obviously packs his own perks, one of which being his Variable Element, and another being his Weapon Copy. Goldenwing lost both his helmet and his right arm in a battle long ago. He's grateful not to have lost his life as well.
Grid Cain is a reploid legend in his own right-- He was Dr.Cain's first reploid creation, built directly from studying X, and as such is the basis for all of reploidkind. He was a part of the founding members of the Irregular Hunters and led his own Hunter Unit, but was later infected by the Sigma Virus. He didn't know, because his infection was far from normal, it only affected his Battle OS, slowly turning him into a berserk killing machine each time he fights, the process being brought to zero each time his Battle OS shuts down. The first time he went berserk, Grid killed not only the Irregulars he and his Unit were after, but also the civilians they were to protect and his entire Unit. Grid has been shunned and rejected by others ever since.
Consisting of Plague Roamer, an overdestructive reploid; iX, an attempt at replicating X gone bogus; Shift Rigel, a reploid made entirely out of nanomachines, and Spinjumper, whose interests in combat leave to be desired, this Hunter Unit, after going on missions for a few times, was demoted to the lowest possible status in the Hunters for excessive brutality and overall never accomplishing the goals they were supposed to achieve.
A mysterious reploid, Omicron is known to be infected by the Sigma Virus, yet seems to have fully kept his free will. This doesn't make him any less of an Irregular, however, as his actions seem to focus on destruction. He has been after Grid specifically for a long time, for reasons known only to him. As such, he and Grid have a long history of fighting each other. It should be noted Omicron's creation isn't registered in any database.
Phaiy Tahlgard, also known as 'Fatal', is in charge of teleportations at Hunter HQ. He's known to be quite the ladies' man.
One of the many recovery units among the hunters. The duties of recovery units is to go and pick up whatever other hunters have found or left behind during their battles. For instance, during the Eurasia crisis, it was recovery units who took care of grabbing the items X and Zero had been looking for after defeating the Irregulars who had them. Recovery unit 05 took care of Vidros' discovery of an old body; they brought it back along with Rilnotoo's damaged body.
One of the many Irregulars on the planet, Rilnotoo was badly damaged by Vidros. Afterwards, Recovery Unit 05 picked his body up, and took it back to base along with a mysterious old body. Rilnotoo was repaired by the Hunters, and is currently imprisonned.
The greatest authority among the Irregular Hunters, Signas was built for his job of leader of the Irregular Hunters, literally. His CPU is the most precise of all reploids, making him especially good at taking decisions. He often hangs out with Alia, X and Zero. His duties are mostly about paperwork.
A medic for reploids, Usagi is one of the rare humans in the Irregular Hunters. With her abilities with machinery, she even built her very own battle armor; it's rather weak, but it's better than nothing, and assists her in repairing on the field. She became interested in machinery at a younger age when Dr.Cain unveiled the first reploid, Grid Cain, seeing that technology of her time could create robotic life. She later on got interested in becoming a medic for the hunters in seeing the rough treatments the Irregular Hunters go through, mainly through seeing the same Grid become half-Irregular on the news. Usagi is noted for her nice personality and to being open-minded; she looks to Grid as a good friend, perhaps even as something of a brother.
A mercenary, Vidros was hired to hunt down the Irregular known as Rilnotoo. In doing so, he stumbled upon an old body... He informed the Irregular Hunters of this and of his victory over Rilnotoo, got his money, and left.
Leader of the 17th Hunter Unit, X dislikes fighting. He was created over 100 years ago by the great scientist, Dr. Light, as the first robot capable of thinking and feeling on his own. X gets his power from armors given to him by holographic versions of Dr.Light, scathered throughout the world. He's been fighting Sigma for years now; his last battle with Sigma ended up with Alia's friend Gate getting very badly damaged, beyond repair to mostly anyone.
Leader of the Special Hunter 0th Unit, Zero is known as one of the most formidable hunters of his era. His fighting ability is especially high. The time he spent asleep with the Zero Virus inside of him modified his program a lot, allowing him free will at the cost of the loss of his memory and a lot of his true power. He's the reason the Irregulars exist. He and X are best friends. He's sure of himself and is a bit cocky; he doesn't care of himself to the point of making self-sacrifice an habit. He usually comes out as a cold person, though.

The first robot created by Dr. Light and Dr. Wily, Blues is a prototype robot with a few technical problems. His power core is unstable, for one thing, and for another, hes struck with a need for loneliness and wandering. He still drops by Dr. Lights Lab on a regular basis to check out how things are going there, though he leaves as soon as possible most of the time; he never got upgraded. He fights Rockman occasionally, but for the most part its only to test his own ability as well as his brothers.
Known to possibly be the greatest scientific mind of his time, Dr. Light is a kind old man with wishes of peace. While he did build quite a few robots, he spends most of his time tweaking around his older works, making them better and better every time. He spent a lot of time on strenghtening Rockman and Rush, though he also built other robots, such as Roll. As of late, hes been going in a room only accessible to him, spending completely absurd amounts of time in it. Rumor has it he is building a new robot with never before seen abilities.
Known to possibly be the greatest threat to the world of his time, Dr. Wily was Dr. Light's assistant, even if he was of equal ability to Dr. Light. While Light spent time working on making the robots' AI and designs feel like humans, Wily spent most of his time developping their weapon systems. He eventually stole the 6 Robot Masters he and Light worked so hard on to use them to conquer the world... Unfortunately, Rock, converted into a fighting machine known now as Rockman, stopped him. Numerous times. Wily's greatest effort yet at taking Rockman down is a black robot and its wolf support unit, Forte and Gospel, though the two of them actually overcame their AI and rebelled. His luck may be about to turn, however, as he's recently been working on a crimson robot with abilities beyond Forte's to take his place as Rockman's destroyer. Wily's insanity has no end.
A being of great power, Duo exists to get rid of Evil Energy. He needs some huge Evil Energy signals in order to detect them, though, given he lives on another planet. Duo actually isn't the only being out there trying to get rid of Evil Energy. Others, his allies, are also doing it; it's some kind of intergalactic military operation.
Built by Dr. Wily as an effort to take down Rockman, Forte rebelled against his master when Wily tried making a robot stronger than him. Forte has been carrying the last remains of Evil Energy on the planet inside his core. His programming dictates that he must destroy Rockman and that he must become the strongest robot in existance; anyone getting in his way will have to eventually be destroyed. Forte is also known to ignore the laws of robotics, ruthlessly killing anything in his path if he has to or if he just feels like it. While he hates Rockman, the blue bomber's sister Roll is of no threat to him in his programming. He considers her weird, not understanding why she does things the way she does.
Much more similar to his "rival" Rush than Rockman and Forte are to one another, Forte's faithful wolf support unit is huge and menacing, but isn't actually as psychotic as Forte. He will, however, follow Forte anywhere he can. Gospel can merge with Forte to allow him to fly and gain even more destructive power. Having a mind of his own, he can have influence on Forte while they merge.
Wily's personal guard and tools of world domination, each of them has a specific personality, often clichÈd after what they were made to be like. For instance, Sword Man is like a swordsman; calm and ready to do his duty, while Aqua Man boasts one of the biggest egoes around.
A hero, simply enough. Rockman has a very strong sense of justice and will do anything to stop Wily from destroying what he cares about. He was originally a simple lab assistant robot known as Rock, created some time after Blues by Dr. Light and Dr. Wily, but once Wily went on a quest to take over the world, Rock asked Dr. Light to convert him into a fighting machine : thus, Rockman was born. Rockman has been saving the world on a near-daily basis ever since.
Dr. Light's greatest creation : a robot with the ability to think and feel for himself. Rockman X has been Dr. Light's main occupation for quite some time, one he hid from everyone, including the original Rockman and Roll. He's been equipped with powerful weapons and an infinite ability for upgrades, something not even Rockman has. Dr. Light created a program to test his AI and get it to correct itself on its own. The program should take around 30 years to fully execute itself; then the release of Rockman X can be done.
Roll has a loving and caring personality; she was created some time after Rock as a house-keeping robot. She's always been there for Rockman in his battles, supporting him all the way. However, after Forte decided to leave Wily to do his own thing, she popped up wherever Rockman and Forte fought, taking care of Forte's damage as best as she could every time, since Forte never won. She made sure no one but Forte and Gospel knew of this, and made the two of them swear they wouldn't say this to anyone.
These two are only a small part of the military... They watch over things to ensure the planet's safety, although in a lot of cases they're just not suffucient enough. The head of the military are getting tired of this situation, and of how robots are replacing mankind in war. They want this to stop, but need an opportunity... Which they might very well get.
Dr Wily's greatest creation : the perfect war machine. Zero was created with Forte's schematics as a rough base as well as X's, and his purpose is to follow his master's orders. His program is, so far, incomplete, as a special program has yet to be uploaded into him. One that will truly change the face of the world....
